Bienvenidos

Our stone house stands in Badia Gran on Mallorca’s south coast and is let all year round. A garden with an olive tree, a pool where the day begins and ends – and enough room that twelve people never get in each other’s way.

A wonderful view of the sea from the nearby cliffs – and the closest beaches only a short way off.

What guests keep mentioning in their reviews:

  • A well-equipped kitchen
  • Cleanliness
  • A well-kept pool and garden
  • Easy contact

“Booked” means the whole house is not free that day because at least one part of it is taken. The upper floor or the apartment may still be free – just ask us. A free day is not yet a reservation: a stay is only reserved once we have confirmed it.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Can I rent just one floor?

Yes. The upper floor (up to 8 guests) and the ground-floor apartment (up to 4 guests) can be booked separately – or together as the whole house for up to 12 guests.

What is included in the price?

Utilities, final cleaning and bed linen are charged once per stay (see the price table). The statutory tourist tax of €2.50 per person per night comes on top.

Can we come in spring or winter?

The house is let all year round. From November to April we set the prices individually – write to us with your dates and the number of guests.

Who sleeps where if we are ten?

The whole house has six bedrooms: upstairs the master bedroom and three double rooms, downstairs in the apartment a parents’ room and a children’s room. That works for five couples. There are two bathrooms upstairs, plus a bathroom and a separate toilet in the apartment.

What is the pool like with children?

The pool measures 8 × 4 m. It is about 1 m deep at the shallow end and 1.70 m at the deep end: even the shallow end is deep for small children. It is not fenced or covered, and small children must always be supervised at the water.

Do we need a car?

The small Eroski City in the village centre (bread, milk, drinks, open every day), the pharmacy, the bakery and the restaurants are three to four minutes away on foot. The rocky coast is about 25 minutes on foot. For the big shop there is a Mercadona in Puig de Ros, 4 km and 7 minutes by car (closed on Sundays). The larger beaches and Palma need a car. The airport is about 18 km away, roughly 20 to 25 minutes.

How does booking work?

Pick your dates in the calendar and write to us, or simply send us your preferred dates and the number of guests. We reply personally and give you the exact price.

We are coming with bikes – what is there for them?

Bikes can be locked up or put in the conservatory, which locks. Basic tools for small repairs are there, and you can wash cycling kit in the washing machine. Spring and autumn are the island’s cycling seasons; hire bikes are available in S’Arenal.

How long is the minimum stay?

The final cleaning is charged once per stay, so very short stays are rare. Usual are a week or a long weekend from Thursday to Sunday. If you have something else in mind, just ask us.

Can you see the sea from the house?

No, you cannot see the sea from the house. The rocky coast with the Mirador Los Tablones and Es Balconet viewpoints is about 25 minutes away on foot.

Is there equipment for babies and toddlers?

A travel cot and a high chair are available. There is no stair gate, and the pool is not fenced (see above).

What do we pay on arrival?

At the handover you pay the remaining rent, a deposit of 350 € and the tourist tax in cash. The air conditioning and heating are an extra and are charged by meter reading: a flat 20 € plus 0.95 € per kWh.
