Route in Google Maps

Handover

Our house manager welcomes you on the day of arrival, shows you the house and explains everything important. You receive the keys then.

Please call shortly before leaving the airport so that she can estimate when you will arrive.

If you wish, we can also arrange a pick-up from the airport: please ask us beforehand.

From the airport to the villa

About 18 km, around 20 minutes according to Google Maps.

  1. From the airport take the motorway towards Santanyí for about 6 km to exit 13, then follow the signs for S’Arenal/Cala Blava (Ma-6014).
  2. Take the 2nd exit at each of the next three roundabouts; at the third, follow the signs for Cala Pi.
  3. After about 8 km you reach the entrance to the Badia Gran estate (urbanización), sometimes spelled “Bahía Grande” in Spanish.
  4. Turn right there: Carrer de Cristòfor Colom no. 41 is Villa Ines, on the left-hand side.

Paying on site

At the handover you pay the remaining rent, a deposit and the tourist tax in cash. The deposit is only a security for damage caused by irresponsible treatment of our property; we have never had to use it so far.

Air conditioning and heating are an optional extra: the electricity is metered separately and charged at a flat 20 € plus 0.95 € per kWh. The meter is read on arrival and on departure.

House rules

Quiet hours from 11 pm

The plot is spacious, but there are many direct neighbours, and especially in summer noise carries through open windows into every house. Parties are not allowed because of the noise, and quiet hours apply outdoors from 11 pm. The Spanish police do not issue warnings; they fine you on the spot, by several hundred euros.

Rubbish

In Spain household rubbish is not collected at the house but only from the collection containers at the entrance to the village and at the end of the road towards the sea. Please take it there daily (against smells and animals) and do not collect it on the property. Under Spanish law it may only go into the containers after dark.

Gas bottles

The gas bottles for the barbecue are delivered weekly if needed; the house keeps a reserve of two bottles. Our house manager will help you change one.

Breakages and losses

Please tell us when you hand back the keys what has broken or is missing, including light bulbs, crockery and glasses: we cover those as the owners.

Before you leave

On the day of departure we read the air-conditioning meter with you and set it against the deposit; we go through any damage together. You get the rest of the deposit back.

Fill up before driving to the airport: there is no petrol station in Badia Gran, the nearest is about 7 km away.

Registration form

Spanish law requires the details from every traveller’s ID. We send you the form before you arrive; this website does not store any ID data.
